Location: Homedale, Idaho
Problem:
This older home had a stem wall that was crumbling due to age and deterioration, leading to settlement at one corner. The homeowner wanted a practical solution that improved stability without unnecessary demolition.
Polyflow Solution:
Although the stem wall was deteriorated, the basement contained a substantial footing that could be utilized. We cleared the area by removing shelving and cleaning the workspace, then installed the adjustable jack system beneath the affected zone. After placing 2×6 members and a steel I-beam, we made the necessary fine adjustments to level the house. To complete the project, we repaired the crumbling exterior concrete with a specialty repair material designed to bond to existing substrates and improve appearance.
Result:
The home was stabilized and leveled, and the exterior finish was improved. The repair leveraged existing structural elements to deliver an efficient, homeowner-friendly outcome.
